I'm from Minneapolis but have lived in Madison for almost 5 years now. I participated on the UW Sailing Team prior to transferring to Edgewood, where I am now on the E.C. Volleyball Team. Because I transferred so late into my educational career, I am kicking butt to make it through the Elementary Ed Program in just 2 years. This is my first summer in Madison, for the past few years I have been the head of a sailing program at a summer camp in Maine called Camp Laurel South. It makes me sad to have to miss Maine this year but hopefully as an educator later in life I will still be able to return as leadership staff for my summers. For now, I'm making the most of the monsoon season we've had as well as my 5 simultaneous summer classes.

I'm sorry you're a little homesick! Best of luck to get through in 2 years! Amazing!
I hope you learned something new today. You seem pretty comfortable with tech. :)
See you tomorrow!

Hi Leslie! I hope you get a little sailing in this summer. Madison isn't Maine, but they sure have a lot of boats in the water. Good luck with classes. Carrie
